The first son of Bishop Wagyu Q33, V60 represents the next step in a powerful collaboration between Island Wagyu, Strathdale Wagyu and Bishop Wagyu. Q33 has been entered into the AWA Progeny Test Program, and V60 is already showing the balance and performance expected from this elite mating.
V60 is a well-balanced, recessive-free sire, sitting above breed average for all Indexes. His NFI WBV indicates improved feed efficiency, meaning his progeny should convert feed more profitably — a major advantage in modern Wagyu production.
Phenotypically he stands out with a Frame Score 6, ADG of 0.97 kg/day unassisted off grass, and a 30 cm scrotal circumference, demonstrating natural growth, fertility, and suitability for long-fed Wagyu programs.
Not only does V60 bring superior meat traits, but he is also fertile, structurally sound, and displays a calm, manageable temperament — the type of bull that lifts both genetic progress and day-to-day herd management.
